MORE INFO:

True Believers! We are STOKED that we will all be cruising together this weekend for the BOUNCING SOULS. Sometimes we lose track, but these are probably their 5th and 6th boat shows we’ve done with the Souls. And they never get old!

Just wanted to run down some of the logistics for these shows, and make sure y’all have all the information you need. Knowledge is Power.

DEPARTURE LOCATION

We will be departing from and returning to PIER 36 which is located at 299 South Street in MANHATTAN – NYC. The best GPS address for the pier is 299 South St, New York, NY 10002. There’s not a lot of stores nearby to the Pier so if you need to grab smokes, condoms, grease paint, chicken necks, turkey legs, cotton candy or wrestling masks, make sure to secure that stuff well before you get to Pier 36. When you DO get to the pier there’s gonna be a huge building with signs calling it the Balloon Museum. Whatever that means. Just go behind that building and you’ll find the boat. It will be floating in the river. And the Rocks Off Crew will be outside waiting to greet you and welcome you aboard!!

NOW THIS PART IS REALLY FUGGIN IMPORTANT!

There are TWO cruises this weekend. SATURDAY and SUNDAY. SATURDAY is completely sold out. And we have about 50 tix left for Sunday in case your straggler friends want to join. Please check your ticket confirmations to make sure you are coming on the right night. How embarrassing would it be to show up on the wrong night?

THE ROUTE: We will sail south along the East River. We are gonna go underneath the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges, get right up close and personal with the Statue of Liberty and then cruise around NY Harbor giving you some of the best and wildest views of this city you’ll ever see. Unless you take a helicopter ride. That’s probably wilder. But way more dangerous.  Make sure your phones and cameras have plenty of charge and memory space for pics! There’s also outlets all over the boat you can plug into if you bring a charger. But please don’t stick anything metal into the outlets. Seriously. We are begging you!

WILL CALL / TICKETS : All tickets are will call for thee shows. Which means we will have a list with everyone’s names, and we will start checking people in when boarding begins at 6pm. Make sure you have ID and please plan to show up no later than 6:45pm. You dont wanna miss the boat, literally!!! The boat leaves at 7pm. And will return to the dock around 10pm.

BAG POLICY: Bags are allowed. But please no booze, weapons, food, pets, stilts or stinky laundry. We get that some of you have traveled for these shows and if you have bags with you we will let them in, and will have a bag and coat check station set up at the Rocks Off merch table so you won’t have to carry it around all night.

PARKING: We don’t have any real information on parking in the area. Because none of us drive. We use the subways. Who needs to travel to Great Adventure when the most amazing thrill ride on rails is only $2.90 with entrances all over the city?? Or free f you know what’s up.  But if you need to drive, there’s lots of street parking around the pier. Just use your head and make sure to read the parking signs before you just leave your car on the street. There’s parking garages too but they’re priced for millionaires.

FOOD & DRINKS: There will be full bars on board and also food available for purchase. Food is an assortment of empanadas, stewed chicken, rice & beans, salad, pasta and mixed veggies. Sometimes hot dogs too, if we’re lucky! Cards and cash are both accepted onboard.

SMOKING: Smoking is allowed on the OUTDOOR decks only. That means please don’t smoke inside. Smoke outside. And smoke whatever you want. Except cloves and cigars. Ain’t nobody wanna be smelling that stuff. If you’re not a smoker and are thinking of taking it up, we recommend Parliament Menthol Lights. Or Newports. It’s like brushing your teeth with cancer!

We hope this answers most of your questions but if you need more info please email Sancho@RocksOff.com

Much Love,

Sancho
